ISY-994i / ZWave / Smartthings
#1
Hopefully someone could point me in the right direction on this, as I am getting a bit lost on how all this works.  I currently have an ISY-994i with Zwave.  I was wanting to start looking into door locks, ceiling fan control, and a few other things that Zwave controls better or easier than Insteon/ISY, but maybe I am wrong.

Would a Smartthings controller help me with my CQC setup and what I can control?.  I would like to do it both from touchscreen IV's and Echo.  Maybe I don't need Smarthings controller at all, and there is something better out there to look at.

Any help or comments appreciated.

Regards,
Blake

You can add a Z-Wave board to your ISY and control the Z-Wave devices through it, and CQC would work through the ISY of course.
