Help with CQC 3.3 on Win10
#1
I am trying to install an old CQC IV on Win10 (home)  but I can't get it to run without wanting to have elevated privileges.

I have gone into App & Browser control and turned off the Check apps and files but it still want me to log in with an elevated account.

Can I run the IV as a standard user? or will I need to have it as an admin?

Any old help files around as I need to get the IV to starup in fullscreen in kiosk mode and I have forgotten the switches needed for the command (\fullscreen \kiosk was what I tried)

I'm pretty sure that everything required privileges back then. A lot of work was done at some point to have separate data storage for client applications, which was done to get rid of the need for that. You can of course right click it and do Run as Admin. Does that take you straight in, or does it still do the prompt?

The switches should be /Fullscreen and /Kiosk, with forward slashes. Those are still the same as today. So, as long as those existed on 3.3, then they should work like that.
