Having issues setting up the DataLogDB driver. Was working fine, realized I never re-installed SQL*Server and then the driver when I switched master servers a while back.  I have SQL*Server setup just fine, did all 3 types of ODBC (Native, etc) under a System DSN account using Windows NT login. But CQC doesn't see the ODBC when I try and add a DataLogDB driver. It just shows a blank screen. (well technically it shows ElkRP as an ODBC source but obviously that's wrong)
It's been forever since I first set this up, wondering if I missed a step.

Create a regular administrative account and set up the CQC app shell service on that machine to log in under that. In these days of paranoia, the default service account probably doesn't have such rights.

I'm putting all this on my MS. Do you mean a regular admin account on the actual MS? I think i'm doing what you're saying, but to be clear:
I have a Windows admin user called BigVivek. CQC logs in as that user under logon.
That same user (BigVivek) is what I used to install SQL*Server.
Or did I misunderstand what you meant by "default service account"?
Ugh. This is identical to what I did beforehand, but this is Windows10 which is all hinky.

NVM. Got it working by specifying a User DSN. (Hail Mary on it since everything else was tagged to that user)

When CQC is installed the background services run under a default account that is used for services. But over time it has gotten more and more restricted. In some cases you have to set up the app shell to log in under a regular admin type account that you create for it. That will get rid of those restrictions.

Not sure what you're using the DB for but influx DB and Grafana have proved a powerful combination for me.

Are you using them with the data log db driver?

I am not. I believe thereÔÇÖs a CQC macro for logging to influx dB. IÔÇÖm using it with a smarthings app to log stuff. Also use grafana a lot professionally. I can post a screenshot tomorrow, remind me if I forget.

I should also point out that you can use sql as a data source for grafana.
