I've often been frustrated by copying actions from one place to another. Since the action editor is modal, I've had to open the source, copy the action I want, close the source, open the destination, paste the action, and repeat.
If you're copying one action or all actions, it's no problem. But if you need to copy a bunch of selected actions it is tedious.
My first workaround is to move all the actions I want into an if command. It's easy to copy the entire if command along with all the enclosed actions.
My second workaround is to remotely control another computer (I use teamviewer) and open the Administrative Interface in my second computer (you could probably use a VM if you don't have another local computer). I was surprised to learn that using the copy command on my second computer allows me to copy all the actions I want from my second computer and paste them onto my main computer.
Hope this make sense and is useful to someone else.
