I use Z-Wave with CQC, with an IZY for the controller.  Voice control with Echo.  It's all been so reliable for the past couple of years, I can't remember a single failure.  Until recently.
For some insane reason, I added an Insteon Hub with a couple of lamp dimmers in my bedroom.  Worked fair for some time, but started failing to respond and required the "discover" procedure to reconnect it to the system.  It's steadily grown to several times a day having to be "rediscovered".  Shame on me, I've sent enough Insteon stuff to the landfill that I should have known better.
So, I need to dump the small Insteon system and add a couple of Z-Wave lamp dimmers to the installation.  I notice that Leviton has changed their offerings to something called Decora instead of the old Vizio +, or whatever it was called.
Before ordering a couple of lamp dimmers, I need to make sure they are compatible with the old model Leviton Z-Wave.  Seems like they would have to be, but thought I better ask if anyone knows.
The trouble with CQC's incredible reliability is that I have forgotten how the system is put together, since I never have to do anything with it.  It just runs day in and day out without a glitch.  I don't even remember how to add a Z-Wave node to the ISY based Z-Wave network.
Thanks
