Unfortunately, that didn't help, but I'm out of time right now so I'll have to mess with it more later.

Just to be sure, is the post adding any kind of characters whatsoever to the content of the buffer before sending it?  The way I read the curl docs, it sounds like that literal string needs to be sent (not in binary form, but with nothing else added).
Yep, thats how I read it too....  Using data-ascii will form encode name/value pairs.  --data-binary won't.
Quote:Data is posted in a similar manner as --data-ascii does, except that newlines are preserved and conversions are never done.

Set bData=True that means you have a body/data to send with the POST.
sorry my example was a little more complex than you needed....

Well that would certainly explain it.

Can you post a How-to for this.
Did you use Grafana on a local server or their servers? I like the option of having it local.

Sure - I'm happy to create a post!  I still have a few things to figure out, plus I'm about to go out of town for a long weekend, but I'll start a work-in-progress thread. I'll put more details in the how-to thread, but to answer your immediate question, I'm running Grafana and InfluxDB locally in Docker containers. |
