Test my new web site concept
#1
So, since I need to learn more HTML/CSS stuff for the ongoing HTML client stuff, and since we always need a better web site, I've been killing two birds with the same evil stone and working on a new web site for 5.1. It is vastly superior in a number of ways.

1. It looks a lot better
2. It's a lot more mohderhn-like
3. It should be far more adaptable based on device resolution

So give this guy a try and see how it does for you. It would be really nice to be sure that it is working well on a variety of platforms before committing. Browser development is only 'cross platform' in a loose sense of the word, so there are a lot of gotchas. I've tested it on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on Windows.

IE11 is getting some bizarre failure at the moment, and I'll have to look into that. It's like it's reading something completely different from what's there or something. I've flushed the cache so it's not getting old data. I think maybe it's the default compatibility level. I'll maybe have to put some of the MS specific X headers into the HTML to force a higher level.

But I'm not too worried about IE for the moment, more about non-Windows platforms and such. Anyhoo, it's currently offline here. Everything should work, so let me know if it doesn't. If it looks wierd anywhere, try to get a screen cap if you can and post it.

I like the concept. Nice and clean and easy to navigate.

Does it resize nicely as you size the window or access it on different sized devices?

I am running Win 10 and tested it in Edge and Chrome - Both resize well.

On IE 11, the first pane that says" Magic is the Magic.." doesn't wrap properly. On Chrome, it does. Everything below that is fine.

By not wrap properly, what exactly are you seeing? Can you get a snap shot of it?

Attached!  The Chrome one wraps the text, but IE 11 on Win10 64bit didn't.

Wow, that seems like a glaring error in IE. That's fundamental stuff. I'll try something else and get IE updated here to 11 if not already and see if I can figure out some way around it.

Don't go too crazy on this Dean.  I am running the Pre-Release of Win10 (Ver 16104-1700) and wrapping on your test site works just fine.  MS may have fixed it with some of the most current tweaks.
