For fields that you put a trigger on yourself, the logic server doesn't get involved. That's done at the base driver level and it wouldn't know if it's a logic server driver or not. So on that one, it would seem like it has to be your trigger configuration is off. What value are you putting into the comparison field for the trigger?
BTW, you would definitely want to set such a trigger to be latching. Otherwise, once you get it working, it's going to send a trigger every time the field changes and is above that value, which will be very bad.
