Android RIVA Client: taRiva

I run it on now just on my android phone with Remote RDP, so usually I am in and out. The Win10 tablet and the Win7 HP T510, I run CQC natively.

taRiva now works again. Personally i'm not sure if i'll use it anymore given that A)its a dead product, and B)RDP will allow me to have a single set of screens for iphone & Android and I kinda sorta have it working.

But y'all should feel free to upgrade now.

After upgrading my master server last night to a modern powerhouse taRiva now snaps open on my Samsung Edge 7.

You've been fighting with the M$ RDP client, correct? Have you tried Remote RDP? It allows you to specify resolution as well as orientation, auto, portrait or landscape, what program to run, parameters, etc...

I've got the app to access my computers remotely but have not tried to create an RDP based IV client. I think it was wuench that originally recommend this client.

yeah. The resolution is mediocre, sometimes I want to zoom in and it goes all hinky.

I really seriously doubt i'll ever go back to taRiva as with RDP I can have a single set of templates and scale on the Nexus 6P. I just need to dig through texts and figure out how to lock down RDP a little more.

No, between the full time job 4 years ago and the cable co's PVR, the home automation/HTPC development time died out. I hardly find time/motivation to update my Android game after a day/week of programming at work...

It has, didn't seem fair to sell something without support... In principle when a developer removes a product from sales, existing users should still have access through their purchased tab on the various App Stores...

I am in the same boat. I understand not wanting to offer it up for other users, but I don't see where I can download it again and get the registered version I paid for.

He was saying above that it should be on your 'Purchased' tab in the store.

I understand that, but I am not finding it. I searched for it both on my phone and on the play website under "My Orders" and it isn't showing there. I even still have the email from 2013 where I purchased it so I know I am looking under the right google account. Does anyone else that purchased it see it in their history?

I found an old download, so I have the 'unlicensed' version installed, but I can only enter one profile at a time. It isn't that huge of a deal and I can get by with just changing my profile login each time I need to switch interfaces. I am just pointing out that it isn't showing up for me on the store though I purchased it since it was removed.

For me I still prefer taRiva to RDP, so hopefully it will continue to function until the HTML5 client is good to go.
