SamVimes2 Wrote:However, touching back on something you mentioned before - the various lists (RecordedShows* for example) have funky order, like:

11,10,9,8,5,4,3,2,1,15,14,13,12,7,6.
Is that a number that I am hardcoding in, or just the actual order by date?

Sorry, that was just meant as an example. I have tens or even hundreds of shows recorded; I'm not sure it's practical to show the actual order here. I had mentioned the problem awhile ago that at some point newly recorded shows get put at the "back" of the list. I thought I read recently that you put in a fix for that; I'm just saying I don't think it's working. Let me know if you need more info.

I did, but I forgot that if you have more than 100 shows, they are sent in multiple batches, which messes up the logic of adding the new set at the start... Wink I am trying to avoid the "costly" operation of inserting an array in a vector, at the right position, a few thousand times... Wink

Version 1.1.1 in the first post should fix the out of order issue.

1.1.1 seems to have fixed the ordering issue. Thanks!

So what's the state of this driver? And relative to the one that's currently shipped? Do we need to get a new version of this into the next release? Is it all nice and stable and not going to break folks who are using the shipped versions and such?

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - Fonceur - 09-25-2010

It has been stable for a while, but it is not compatible with the original set...

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - Dean Roddey - 09-25-2010

Oh well, does it have a different make/model? If so, we can do it as a new version and deprecate the old one.

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - Fonceur - 09-25-2010

Yes people have been running both versions at the same time.

Is the documentation in good shape? I have to add a documentation page for it, and I'm not up on some of these more complex drivers.
