Sage Media Server driver (beta) - daddyd - 07-27-2009

I'm not sure if it is that easy, when ever I write to that field, it kicks me out of the movie, I need to "start from beginning" in order to proceed again.

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - SamVimes2 - 07-27-2009

I believe there is a setting within Sage that controls whether to always/prompt/never start the movie where you left off.

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - personalt - 08-15-2009

ExtenderControl.EnterStandby and ExtenderControl.ExitStandby do not seem to work on the HD200 extender, the reboot works fine just not the standby. I am not sure it is a CQC error though as i see a lot of action in the sage log. anyone try this out? do I need to do anything special on the sage side to support this?

.. the command at 15:39:23 is the standby which fails, second command at 15:39:27 is reboot which works fine.

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - Fonceur - 08-15-2009

Yes the whole standby/power on/power off/reboot is a bit fishy and dependent on the model (mvp/hd100/hd200). I've been meaning to do something about it, but... Wink

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - personalt - 08-17-2009

How does the driver load channels. I only seem to have the 45 New York Digital over the air channels in cqc driver. It doesnt seem to care about the second set of channels from directv. Is there anything I need to do on my side to get both collections included.

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - SamVimes2 - 08-18-2009

Though I haven't had time to experiment with it, I believe it was adding a second set of channels that broke my driver.

Fonceur, have you tested/experimented with multiple lineups?

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - Fonceur - 08-20-2009

I doubt that the issue is the multiple lineups, it's probably more the fact that neither of you have hidden your unsubscribed channels, so you have 500 to 850 channels and CQC isn't processing all that in time, thus the timeouts...

I had been busy with a trip, but now that it's over, I'll try to dig some more over the weekend.

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - Fonceur - 08-24-2009

After poking around, indeed there was no provision for multiple lineups, so I'll need to fix that. But the main issue seemed to have been an hard coded limit of 150 channels, which I boosted to 1500, so have a try at 0.9.5... Most likely, only the last lineup will be visible.

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - personalt - 08-24-2009

great.. I hope to try this tonight.

One other thing I have noticed is that recently I have seen large spikes in CPU usage for CQC process that I think are from this driver. It is hard to tell for sure as CQC doesnt seperate this data and the spikes dont happend that often, mayve once every 4-5 days. I dont run much for sage, I have a weather driver, a driver for TTS and not much elso. Also, I havent changed any of my other drivers in at least 9 months.

I put a monitoring program on this PC which texts me on the spikes in CPU usage for CQC server. Last time it happened I was watching TV but I wasnt doinging anything other then changing shows. Have anyone seen anything like this? I assume you have no way to track usage within the driver and log any spikes?

Sage Media Server driver (beta) - Fonceur - 08-24-2009

I guess it depends on the duration and magnitude of those spikes... Having more activity when Sage is used, that's something that make sense, depending on how much more... Wink
