Drivers in Progress Discussion - IVB - 08-11-2006 This thread is intended for discussion about the official drivers in progress list. Don't post to the official sticky thread, post here if you have comments about it or want to get something added and so forth. Drivers in Progress Discussion - jscheller - 08-11-2006 I'm also working on the following... Jandy RS Series Pool Controller Resconsys (RCS) Serial Thermostat Driver When I'm done with those, I'll be revisiting the Vantage lighting control driver that Dean started a while back. Drivers in Progress Discussion - IVB - 08-11-2006 1) wow, that's a lot of work you're putting out 2) added to the list. Drivers in Progress Discussion - znelbok - 08-11-2006 My driver is for AdvantageAir - I got a pre-release of the commands under a NDA In the pipeline is a GE 90-30 (PLC) driver with lots of help requried from Rohan. I have a couple of one way drivers that are working but need some development into two-way - Topfield pvrt 5000 (required an app written for the box) and Humax 5400 with ToH (I dont think this will ever be two way). Then there is the X-Box with HTML scraping to be done when I have learnt CML. Meanwhile, I'm just happy I found someplace where it was actually feasible to write drivers for all these contraptions... Drivers in Progress Discussion - Ripper - 08-11-2006 The more drivers the better...I had a few Krell Audio drivers made for my system and while I doubt anybody is using them but me I imagine one day someone will stop and look at CQC and say "Wow they have Krell drivers I need" Drivers in Progress Discussion - znelbok - 08-11-2006 Ripper Wrote:Just curious what this driver would do Mick?an xbox running XBMC (XBOX media center) has a web interface that allows control of the box remotely (as opposed to the IR remote). It will display the media accessible by the xbox without the need for the CQC repository as well as control over transport functions etc. The API was actually written to allow scraping as the retun messages are very simple text strings. I personally use the xbox as a media center only. It has never had a game played on it. Mick Drivers in Progress Discussion - bph - 08-11-2006 IVB Wrote:Seems like there's a ton of folks working on drivers. Can I ask folks to reply to this thread if they're working on something? That way the rest of us can get a feel for who's working on what, in case we want to lend a hand. I have a working LG LCD/Plasma Panel driver that does everything but direct tuning (but you can emulate tuning by sending "keystrokes"). I am about to contemplate a Honeywell Enviracom (communicating thermostat/zone controller) driver. They have a C api, and the sample app shows the traffic, should be rather convenient for debugging. Drivers in Progress Discussion - Dean Roddey - 08-11-2006 Once I get the 2.0 beta out, I'll be looking to get all of the drivers that are ready to go and get them into the release and documentation pages done and all that. |
