Server hardware question - rhosch - 10-01-2019

Noticed that Newegg has refurbed dell poweredge r310 rackmount servers that have a 4 core Xeon x3430 cpu and 4gb ram for about a hundred bucks. Probably 3-4 years old I'd guess.

TDP isn't as low as a current gen CPU of same processing power but at 75W or so not horrible either. Price is certainly attractive.

Is this sufficient hardware for running cqc? The windows native interface in surface tablets looks like the way to go but in case I wound up with a few webriva clients is that still enough juice? Any other issues like connectivity anyone sees as being a showstopper?

Should be more than enough to handle it.

I run it on an Intel NUC. Biggest issue is dealing with Windows 10 automatic updates that are not necessary or needed for a system that does not touch the outside world.
