Basis of brief Google Foo session the Aeon stick is joined to the SmartThings hub it needs to be put into learning mode, similar to what was done with the VRC0P in the instructions I posted. I won't be able to get to this until Friday to work through.

You just use the Options button in the driver client interface and select the include/exclude option. Start STs doing the inclusion process then hit the start button on the driver side to start the process.

The issue here is why didn't transmit the devices. It's probably doing something differently from the Vizia that needs to be taken into account.

Though I'd still argue that it's probably not a good thing to have STs being the master in this configuration because I'm betting it will think it has control over all of the modules and will do configuration changes and will be doing things that increase network load that aren't needed if you are using CQC to control the Z-Wave devices. The Vizia software is completely passive even when running, and totally non-existent when stopped. So you know it's not messing with anything.

what steps should I take to get a trace?

I realize this but I am just not in a place to nuke Smartthings. It's just to easy to set things up and I don't have a time to rebuild the remote access it offers.

OK. Just be prepared that it may not work correctly if STs keeps changing things behind the driver's back. The driver needs devices configured a particular way in some cases. I don't know if STs configures devices on its own, or only if you ask it to, or regularly configures devices on some schedule or whatnot. If so, it could interfere with the operation of the driver.

If I am seeing weirdness that others are not I am fully prepared to blame smartthings.

Ditto on this!

How do we get a trace to you to figure this out?

RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - bobskie708 - 03-28-2018

So I think I am seeing the same thing. I too (long story for the reasons) am using smartthings as the primary. Last I remember, VRC0P was replicating correctly from ST, I dont have anything new or un-added to test and make sure (last new device add was 2-3mo ago).

I added the Aeon stick and it added to ST and shows in ST. CQC showed a successful join in the dialog box, but the driver still shows false for InZWNetwork. I can include and replicate and CQC and the dialog box shows Replication Succeeded. Nothing seems to ever show up in the Driver client.

If I grabbed the correct file or did the trace correctly, it is attached.

RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - Dean Roddey - 03-28-2018

That trace is a bit of a mess with a bunch of inclusion activity. Do an exclude on the driver, to exclude it from STs. Then reset the trace, then do a single inclusion, let it complete, the close the trace and post that file.

RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - bobskie708 - 03-28-2018

Ok, lets try this again Smile

Excluded, reset trace file, included "successfully".

If you want something different let me know and I can do it in the morning if I am not running late, or tomorrow when i get home from work.
