RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - batwater - 02-16-2018 That should cover that one.  Multiple people I believe (myself included) have this Monoprice guy:  Z-Wave Plus PIR Multi Sensor, Temperature - Humidity - Light  This may be a generic gen 5 Aeotec for all I know so maybe what you are doing for the Aeotec would cover this as well... RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - Dean Roddey - 02-16-2018 It's not on the Z-Wave product info site, so no idea how it does its thing. RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - Dean Roddey - 02-16-2018 I had an enormous epiphany on the structure of the CC Impl classes and how to set them up. It's taken me all day to make those changes and still a little to do, but code and complexities fell away by the handful. It was many times over worth another day of carpal tunnel syndrome. Pretty sure it is the Zooz ZSE40 RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - Dean Roddey - 02-17-2018 Yeh, looks like it's doing the same thing. RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - Dean Roddey - 02-17-2018 My time was a bit limited today since it was monthly family night out. We went to 5 Guys, and I had an epic fat pill cheese burger. Anyhoo, I got the epiphany changes completed, and I finished with the generic 'non-standard Aeon style multi-sensor' handler so any of those types should be doable now fairly straightforwardly. I'll start testing that stuff out tomorrow and get it all working. Oh, and I forgot the Fibaro RGBW strip thingie. I need to go back and make sure it's still working and get it tweaked back into shape. At that point, I guess it's time to work on the client side driver. I don't have to get that all the way to its full glory before getting a version of this out there for folks to install and play with. Mostly it'll be to get device info so that I can add support for things you have. Though you probably will be able to use the generic stuff for a lot of it. I should do a generic two way light switch/dimmer handler as well, which would handle a whole other raft of devices. And I guess a generic one way for things that don't support associations and notifications. Those would be quite simple. RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - Dean Roddey - 02-18-2018 An epic day today. I've been pounding away at all kinds of stuff. It's starting to come back together again with all the changes discussed above, plus a good more improvements and fixes found along the way. I realized I'd missed some thing wrt to read/write access needing to be settable on the CC impls, but that that's not necessarily the same as the field access. That had confused me a bit. Something like the Notification CC is not readable or writable. It just sends notifications. But obviously the field it drives needs to be readable. That had caused some unknown confusion along the way. I've got the auto-config stuff going, which stumped me for a bit. But the Aeon multi-sensor doesn't seem to be paying attention to my attempts to set the association. And old id seems stuck there. I'll look at that tomorrow. The auto-config info turned out to be getting cleared accidentally which was confusing me for a while. I got the Fibaro worked out by eye, but haven't tested it yet. As in the LED controller?  Cool! RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - Dean Roddey - 02-19-2018 Yeh, the RGBW controller. RE: Official 5.3 Beta Discussion Thread - znelbok - 02-19-2018 This is the z-wave Fibaro isn't it? in the market for a RGBW controller right now and everything is so expensive |
