I really dont know if this is the proper forum, if I am in the wrong spot please delete.

I am looking for someone who is a master at graphics to give me a hand. I am not very artisitic when it comes to drawing on a computer and want to make some screens that show the status of my house and would like someone who knows how to draw computer graphics really well to give me a hand. I expect to pay for this, should still be cheaper than buying a graphics package I would use for 4 screens and 4 bad ones at that (knowing me)

Just send me a pm or what ever if you can help.

Ted
Can you describe more what type of graphics you're looking for? Your actual house, floorplans, equipment that you own, or something else?

Not that i'm any good at it, but if it's generic stuff then there's a lot of stuff out there already, all you have to do is know where to look.
House plans really in a nice looking format. So my wife could look from a glace on a touchscreen to see the general status, what windows are open, music playing in each room, etc. I really just need the plans made into a nice graphic and add the rest via widgets over time. I can make nice music on a violin but cant draw at all on paper or on a computer.

I can do floor plans pretty easy. I'll work cheap*.

*Unless you are a large software company based in the Pacific Northwest and run by jerks. In that case, you'd need to pay vast sums of money.
Don't you work for them, bph?? I mean, come on...you live in Seattle! :tounge

As an aside, it's too bad there's not a more conducive gallery for the interfaces people have created. I'd be happy to share some of the very basic interfaces I've created, and I'd be happy to find some others that would suit my needs...but clicking through a bunch of threads and pages of threads is cumbersome. It'd be neater if you could see a picture of how the interface looks, and then click that pic to download the template. Kind of the iTunes store (the free section) for CQC interfaces.

He doesn't want Bill to know that he'll work for cheap. He might find himself in a salary re-negotiation. ;-)
Hehe tks ... anyways if you really are interested toss me a PM and we can talk specifics.

tks

Bill's not the problem, especially since he doesn't work there anymore. Trivia quiz: what happens to a company's staff if you run that company like Walmart? Bonus Question: Where did Microsoft's COO last work?

Let's just say, I don't work there *anymore*.

Sorry to hear that. Or congratulations. Whichever is more appropriate at the time :-)

Sorry to hijack the thread.

I'm 50/50 on that distinction myself. It will probably be congratulations once I get resettled.
