i no longer use itunes but i have to keep it running for cqc.  how can i remove the itunes dependency from my cqc install if i no longer use it?

Just run the installer on that machine and turn off the 'use previous settings' check box, so that you can step through the pages. Go to the tray monitor and make sure the iTunes option is disabled. Then let it do an update.
