Relay to switch between speakers
#1
I have a single speaker in the shower cubicle wired to a radio, then 2 more speakers wired to my Cav66. I'd like to be able to wire the left channel from the Cav66 to the shower speaker but retain the option in the shower to play either from the inbuilt shower radio, or from the Cav. I was thinking of a relay type set up, which by default plays the Cav, but when the power is supplied to the shower speaker from the built in radio the relay switches across to the shower radio. So i'd lose one of the in ceiling speakers but that's not a problem.

When the shower radio is turned on there is approx 0.6v to the speaker, is this enough to switch a relay?

something like the russound a/b automatic switch ?
