mixing console
#1
Hi, has anyone tackled / attempted to control a mixing console using CQC?  We would like to automate some common functions of a modern mixing console, such as this one: https://www.allen-heath.com/ahproducts/qu-16/.  All the basic messaging seems to be in place to do what we need, but we'd like to hear from any others which have attempted or succeeded in interfacing to this class of equipment, if anyone has or seen a driver for a mixing console, or if you have ideas / tips about how to approach development of such a driver.  We are trying to support mixing of a few channels of a large conference center.

Following up on our other conversation, assuming the actual physical mixer isn't required, this Denon pro style box is an 8 zone mixer rack mount unit with serial/IP control.

That might be an option. It also provides EQ as well, though that part of it may not be controllable, I'd have to dig into the protocol.

That protocol document is one of the worst ones I've read and I've read a lot of them. It's almost completely incomprehensible. The basic stuff at the top is fine, but the stuff describing the commands and their format is some sort of cryptogram.
