IVB testing, more folks jump on!

The PDL IDE isn't done yet, though unless you need to make changes before it is that wouldn't really matter.

Jkmonroe does, but he's holding off doing much until the Riva viewer is confirmed as working. He just got his elk yesterday so he's got plenty of work in the meantime.

updated first post with results of quick bug test. Will test the state stuff via my template re-do project, so its not throwaway work.

And, the speed by which Dean is fixing bugs makes me want to ask others again to jump in. Y'all will do different things than I do, now that Riva works more of you should jump in.

Quote:NEW: Can't open *any* image files via double click. Right click-view works fine.

Yeh, that'll be the case until probably the next drop. The editor will be there, so double click invokes in edit mode as it should, but there is no editor to open. For something that is view only, then double clicking opens it in view mode. But when something has both view and edit modes, double click invokes for edit. Until the editor is there, it doesn't do anything.

Dean Roddey Wrote:On the Global Cache thing, I just don't know what's going on. I've tested this repeatedly and it works fine. Let's see if hopefully we can get some more data points on this.

What exactly can I do to help this one along? Oddly both the GC100s in my living room are loaded, connected to device, they just don't show up in the serial ports list. For some reason the other 2 serial devices hooked up to one of the GCs ported fine so i never had to specify the serial port.

Can you try it on the master server if you haven't already? If it shows up there but not on a non-MS machine, then that would point me in a direction.

The test was on the master server, which is the same server the driver is on.

And if you go back to the GC-100 configuration tab, they are still there and the ports still show up enabled?

hmm, i saw that they were enabled in some prior version, but now I can't find that screen and neither driver has serial as available fields. Is it the client interface or the field browser?
