sequential lighting
#1
I would like to have my lighting around my pond come on as I walk around it. Is there a way to do this? I have seen it on tv where first one light comes on and then the next and so on. I am using Insteon lighting. Would I have to put trip beams? How would i do this if I have 10 lights... 10 trip beams all wired to one switch?

Not exactly that extensive, but I have implemented this when I was doing residential stuff. I did it with exterior rated motion detectors that went back to the control system. The control system did the logic of what to bring on and for how long. Thoses type of detectors have a fairly wide beam however. It sounds like you may need something with a very short and narrow beam.
Thanks,

I have the Insteon motion detectors... Could I cover part of the window to narrow the beam?
