iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad RIVA Client v1.2 Released!
I thought there was an feature added to automatically reconnect but if there is it doesn't seem to be working for me either.

I would second the motion to at least have an option to automatically reconnect whenever the connection is lost no matter how/why. I would prefer you just display a message while it is reconnecting that the connection was lost, but not to have to click an OK button or anything....

I do need to look at improving recovery from connection failures. I think the new version will work a little better, but more needs to be done in this regard.

However, the particular case you mention, I wouldn't think you would need to restart the app entirely. Just press with four fingers and choose Disconnect, then reconnect. Does that not work? Is the app freezing up so that it doesn't respond to the context menu gesture?

Again, I realize that I need to do better than making you manually reconnect, but I'm trying to figure out a better work-around in the interim.
