It's been a few hours and nothing evil to report - not like yesterday where it was obvious immediately.

Chris.

Still looking good, here. Now I just need it to stop bothering me with UAC prompts when I run the IV etc Wink *hint hint*

OK, I'm going to give it until tomorrow before I commit. Hopefully a few other folks can grab it tonight and give it a try.

Just installed, no errors, the "Directory 'C:\Program Files (x86)\CQC\SaveInst' could not be removed." error did not happen again so this appears to be fixed. No other anomalies to report (checked the log) though it has only been 10 minutes and I am heading off to work...

All I did was add a delay and retry. So clearly for some folks there's some process that immediately goes poking around in directories that are changing, and it appears it does something stupid like set its current directory there, so that the directory can't be removed. It pokes around a bit and then moves on. But this is really kind of bad, since it means that any rename or remove of a file or directory could potentially fail at any random time because of this kind of thing.

I'm getting the release together, but I'm running behind, and I don't want to do a rush job at the end of the night. So I'm just going to finish up in the morning, and we'll call this one done.

OK, the blessed day as come. I'm going to lock this thread but leave it here for some time for reference, and start a new one.
