Device: AC usage monitor
Protocol: You need to fill out: http://www.theenergydetective.com/develo...quest.html

Make: Custom Solutions Inc
Model: HomeVision (Not the Pro)
Device: Controller
Link: http://www.csi3.com/homevis2.htm
Protocol: Protocal was linked to a previous message here http://www.charmedquark.com/vb_forum/sho...php?t=6757
Brief Description: This is a hardware based controller that communicates via serial. I was going to replace totally, but realized how much I use all the inputs and the macros already written. All it's components can be triggered or polled via serial commands - i.e. to run a macro would look like this ,O0200.
Looking for control / polling of Macro, X10, IR, Schedule, IO In, IO Out, Temperature,
Would be willing to pay a reasonable amount and would also do the grunt work of inputting / adding to the driver once the structure was built.

Make: Goldline/Haywood
Model: AQ-CO-SERIAL
Device: Pool controller
Protocol: http://www.goldlinecontrols.com/Support/...29B_SS.pdf
Brief Description: Could somebody with more skill than me write a driver for the Goldline/Haywood pool controller HA interface device? It is called "Aqua Connect" and was released a few months ago. It connects to the RS485 terminals of the pool controller and sends out RS232 signal to the HA computer. It allows the HA computer to send/receive the same information as the dedicated pool control touchpads. It is similar to what Jandy already has.

Make: Lexicon
Model: MV5
Device: Pre-amp
Protocol: http://www.lexicon.com/products/downloads.asp?ID=25
Desired Functionality: 2way for power, volume, input, effect and mute are essential. No multizone status or contrul is necesarry.

My Lexicon DC2 was destroyed by lightning and was replaced with the MV5 and unfortunately none of the existing Lexicon drivers will work with it.
This is an inportant driver for me and i need it relatively quickly.
I am willing to pay for it if need be and I can open up ports for access if need be.

but seriously, I wonder if a simple application/windows service could be written to 'translate' UPnP into something that CQC can understand like a virtual serial port or something...

The following members have graciously offered their time and expertise in writing drivers. If for fee, please negotiate all terms outside of this forum. If you do not wish your driver published, also please do not participate in the driver's in progress thread. The assumption is that all the drivers mentioned in that thread will become part of a official CQC release once properly vetted.

Driver Authors:

CQC ID: Robertmee
Proficiency: CML one or two way
Fee: Mostly free for driver's taking a day or less. Will negotiate fee for more complicated drivers.

CQC ID: Beelzerob
Proficiency: CML, all industry standard languages (useful when dealing with API's)
Fee: Let's put it this way....here's my CQC priorities every day when I get home from work: Paid drivers, drivers for devices I own, free drivers. Rate depends on how complex the protocol is, and how fast you'd like it. SOMETHING has to offset the WAF hit....

CQC ID: Znelbok
Proficiency: PDL but learning CML
Fee: Free, Donations are welcome but never requested

CQC ID: Squintz
Proficiency: CML Only
Fee:
DIYers - Will assist in helping others write their own drivers and web pages at no cost provided the drivers are for personal use.
Professionals - Are you a Pro installer and need a driver and/or web page written for your customer. Contact me with the details and we can work out a price.

Manufacturer: Centralite
Model: CL24 LiteJet 24 (& 48) Note: I thnk that the protocol for Elegance is the same
Device Type: Hardwired lighting control
Link to protocol: http://worthingtonsolutions.com/Manuals/...otocol.pdf
Brief Description: 2 way communication to control loads (on/off/level) and scenes. Get load/scene status. "In addition, the CL24 LiteJet™ can send an ASCII string to both third-party channels indicating when a switch is pressed and when that switch is released (if that switch is programmed to do so)". Two CL24s can be linked together to make a Litejet 48 with 48 loads but the same 20 scenes. The protocol seems to support the much larger number of loads and scenes for an Elegance system so maybe one driver could work for both systems.
Current Requestor: kayemsi (My system will not be operational until about a month.)

Manufacturer: http://anadexlabs.com.au/
Model: AQUAMETA R5 Command Module
Device Type: Water level monitor
Link to protocol:
The T434B can be adjusted to transmit once every 5 seconds through to once every 30 minutes.

The data stream has the following format:
Value 1 - The Scaled level ( Value ranges from 0 to 1000. 0 represents
empty and 1000 full.)
Value 2 - Alarm level status (Set to 1 if the water level falls below the low level setting on the tank unit.)
Value 3 - Relay status (Not applicable on the B, on the R this
value is set to 1 while the relay is energised.)
Value 4 - Battery status (Applicable only when an internal 6V
lantern battery is used. Value set to 1 when battery falls below 5V.)
Value 5 - Over value error condition (Set to 1 if it detects that the
depth sensor has a problem or if the calibration of the unit is incorrect.)
Value 6 - Tank Unit device address (Unique address so that each
tank can be identified on the R5 display unit)

Values are comma separated.
Example of data:
680,0,0,0,0,1 - 68% full
680,0,0,0,0,1
...
The communication rate is 4800 baud, 8 bit, 1 stop bit, no parity.

Brief Description: My unit is model B.
The driver is only one way.
If you are interested in writing this driver could you PM me with a quote please.

Manufacturer: Sonos
Model: ZP-100,ZP-80
Device Type: cool little audio distribution thingy
Link to protocol: purple.org??
Brief Description: 2 way, be able to sense when a zone is active/playing music, and be able to use the Sonos zones for TTS , and ???

NOTE: As one wise professional something once stated, I am ignorant & childish, with a mindset comparable to 9/11 troofers and wackjob conspiracy theorists. so don't take anything I say as advice...

I second (or third or 100th) the request for a Sonos driver. It would be really nice to have and to be able to easily integrate into CQC instead of hosting the SonosWeb app inside CQC.
