? you trigger on each button directly, no need for ifs.

Huh? The Device=DriverNAme, Type=KeyPress. Where would I specify which button was hit?

open up the event monitor and go push the buttons. each one is separate, so make a triggered event that looks for each key specifically.

you’ll see what button was pressed in event monitor.

oh ok. I thought Dean said to use a different way, and just reference KeyPress in Type.

Yeah, so for my Hue example my 'is from source' is 'cqsl.dev:hue', my user action 'type' is 'TapButton', and my 'data' is 'Table_Tap/1 or Table_Tap/4'

how does that data map to Type=Activate, data=004? How'd you know to do those?

in my picture with my Taps up above, Type and Data are under the cqsl.actinfo and are the evtype and evdata values.

oh, maybe i misunderstood - that image above with Activate and 004 is just an image Ben (i think) posted on how he handled his user events a looong time ago.  i always forget what to do, so i saved that image so i would remember.
