Ok,
There are a few physical items I want to be part of my system, but either there are not driveers for it or they have no rs-232 port. How are you all controlling them? Just using an IR blaster and doing it that way? How is that setup? Other options? Thanks DTT |

Stuff Like that....there is really nothing out there for Sirius users otherwise then that very expensive Russound device. This is a third of the price. |

Well I just noticed these two devices on their site. They indicate rs-232 devices. How do I go about figuring or trying to figure out protocol's etc. How do we know if it will show the song, category, track number etc, through the rs-232 pot so we can show it in templates?

You'll have to find the protocol doc from Audiovox. A quick search via google turned up just the user manual so you might have to call. |

I have the same issue. My wife loves the selection on serious, so we end up using the streaming internet to play. However I can't really tie that feature into any sort of automation as it requires you to use a 3 part sign in. If I can tie in a hardware rs 232 sirius solution, it would solve a major music automation issue for me.
