6 drivers written, all these cool templates done to leverage them.

Gentleman, I think we've got a new "King of the Hill" candidate...

I had the original CAD drawings here. I was involved pretty heavily with the design of the house and did a lot of the floorplan drawings myself. I actually had do delete stuff to get the art for the CQC templates, which was a whole lot easier then trying to recreate some existing peice of art... I've done too much of that...

Whoops. Fixed. Thanks.

I've got seven drivers under my belt now, if you count the Sensatronics one that went out with 1.6.21...

Thanks for everyone's compliments on the house. It's been a long time coming and a lot of work. I'm just glad to be living in it and building the fun stuff now.

Oh, and you have a big a$$ house

Autocad will give you the desired results. I used that in conjunction with Photosop to create a tranparent background image and then imported it.

I updated several of the screen shots above after doing my post-2.0 beta install cleanup. I've been trying to get to a more consistent button style and I junked the transparent style buttons on the main left side of the window. I did a major cleanup of the A/V stuff and I included some shots of the media browsers which I think look pretty cool on the background I'm using. The DVD stuff is all via the 2.0 media repository.

All of these templates are sized for my 800x600 resolution touch screens. I'll try to get things cleaned a little more and post a link to some 2.0 template and image packs soon.

Hi Frank -

I'm using these...

http://www.sensatronics.com/cms/inde...rature_monitor

There's a thread here somewhere discussing the driver I wrote for these, but it's eluding me in the forum search this morning. The driver for this is actually in 1.6.21 and 1.7.19 releases already.

They were an easy install and I've been pretty pleased with them. I bought them early in my project and installed some of the sensors with my pre-wire during construction which lets me monitor some places that wouldn't have been easy to get to after-the-fact. Each Sensatronics unit has four probes, and I've got two hooked up in different areas of the house. The rest of the temperature values are coming from the thermostats and the pool controller.

Love the blinkin' lights...

Talk to you soon,

Jim

I've had a lot of people request bits and peices of the artwork I've used in these templates. A lot of what I put together is weird and specific to some of the things in my configuration, including a number of buttons that I rendered instead of using CQC-generated text. Also, the art that I'm using for a background comes from PlasmaDesign (see my earlier post in this thread) and I can't really distribute.

I went ahead and generated blanks for a number of common button sizes, plus whipped up a simple background that complements the color scheme...

Rather then export an image pack with all my other junk in it, I've compressed all the PNGs and uploaded them here for your enjoyment. The file includes the blue burst background shown in the picture here in a couple of different sizes, a number of indicators, all the various buttons, some text labels, the weird little lighting bits you see on my lighting floorplan template, plus other odds and ends.

If I ever get my templates cleaned up enough that I think they'd be useful, I'll get those posted somewhere too...

Jason,

I really like the look of your interfaces. Have you made the graphics available yet?
