Default Autopatch feature request

In Autopatch you can send a command to get the status of your inputs and outputs...could we get that please? I am currently designing a status page for the Autopatch and would like to implemebt this.

Ron

It will require updating the driver. That driver was written by someone else and it was just a simple one way driver. If someone wants to take a whack at it, feel free. For me, it'll be a while before I could get to it. There are a number of other big driver efforts that I'm about to start on that have to get done in a reasonably short time.

Thinking about getting an autopatch unit.
Has anybody updated the driver as yet for feedback?

Someone was messing around with that, but nothing has come of it yet. I really can't take the time to do it right now. There's beaucoup to do for 1.7 still.

It sounds like there are a few people using Autopatch units so I guess eventually there will be complete driver written for them.

I hope so... although it does work well now. It is just missing the status.

I got my first Autopatch the other day, a 1YDM and have two 8Y's on the way.
Can somebody complete the driver for all of us Autopatch users for some feedback please? (on hands and knee's begging)

I'm going to look into the autopatch, since as per my other post i just got a 777 and now have multiple video sources per room to contend with.

Who's got the protocol doc for this? If you send it to me, i'll see if it's within my skillset or not.

Good thing squintz is doing that CML driver session next week...
