Mozilla iOT - Project Things
#1
Mozilla have just announced project Things.

in summary I believe its supposed to bring together devices that would not normally be "connected" under a single API.

It uses a RPi but appears to be able to use a PC as well.

Published API as well - Maybe CQC could work with this......

If it survives any amount of time and becomes something other than an announcement we could look at it. These days everyone wants to get into the game. I contacted Mozilla quite some time ago about maybe working with them with CQC. Of course I got no answer at all, because why use something that exists when you can reproduce all of those painful lessons yet again.
