I guess it depends if they had to cut some corners to do it, but I would think it would be fine.

Android RIVA Client: taRiva - Fonceur - 09-22-2010

Version 0.74d

- Allow for one "Broken pipe" before closing the connection.
- Fix: was not properly reading negative short integers.

This is the proper release...

I guess web images are not supported yet under the tariva? I tried adding one to my thermostat template and it does not appear in the tariva, but does appear in the reference riva.

Log sent in case you wanted to see it.

Also, how do we get custom fonts loaded on the phone to use with the tariva? I have a set of fonts that I would like to use that isn't standard on Android. Specifically, it is the Guifix v2 Transport font.

They are, I just wasn't expecting to have to form a filename from http://192.168.1.2:11000/1DayTemps_1024x768.png.

I've seen a few apps to add fonts to Android, but that seemed mostly to replace the system's fonts, not to add more... I could read them back from the SD card, but let me see the best way to proceed...

Interested in this! Not many choices and having 1:1 match would enable greater accuracy of expected display results when rendered.

It's been there for 3 hours before you posted... Maybe yours isn't running this time... Wink

It's there. Sometimes I find I have to back out to the folder selection screen and select the Tallus_Android folder - perhaps refreshing will also work.

And .75 works. I now can display web images.

Android RIVA Client: taRiva - Fonceur - 09-22-2010

Version 0.76

- Added supports for fonts located in sdcard/fonts/.

So you will need to create this folder and copy your fonts in it. The filenames should be in lower case and omit the ttf extension (I'll be adding it later). You will need to match the name provided by the CQC server, so in the log collector you can search for: Looking for the font:. This will only work for "normal" fonts, but if the bold and/or italic versions come in different files, I could do something about that...
