Android RIVA Client: taRiva - Fonceur - 09-17-2010

Version 0.68

- Fix: The TCP connections were getting closed before their input/output streams...

Android RIVA Client: taRiva - Fonceur - 09-18-2010

Version 0.69

- The Press event is now sent with the Haptic feedback.

I'll need feedback to make sure it doesn't interfere with normal operation on a slow network... So now you should be able to see the button press as the Haptic feedback is going on, to tell you that it really was accepted. I say should, as it turns out the RIVA protocol is not sending the proper message the first time a button is pressed, so you will only see it for say an arrow key of a media art browser on the second time you press it...

I am still getting the exceptions in the image thread with .69. Very few images actually load.

Same templates do not generate errors in iRIVA or winRIVA.

PS - thanks for confirming the bug in RIVA in the iRIVA thread! We'll track down the unicorn yet...

OK the dropbox thing is awesome! Because I have the windows client installed on my main workstation, it notifies me when you make a change...

OK, go try version .70 and either send me the log collector or quote that part from it:

Keep alive: false
Linger: -1
Traffic class: 0
OOBInline: false
Reuse address: true
TCP no delay: false

Trying to see if you and sic0048 have some odd values in there... I could also use batwater version, if it's different than mine...

Found this, looks identical to yours:
Code:
[FONT=&quot]09-18 13:01:14.621 I/CQCConnection(22396): Keep alive: false
09-18 13:01:14.621 I/CQCConnection(22396): Linger: -1
09-18 13:01:14.621 I/CQCConnection(22396): Traffic class: 0

09-18 13:01:14.621 I/CQCConnection(22396): TCP no delay: false[/FONT]

I do find several of these in the log:
Code:
[FONT=&quot]09-18 13:01:16.310 E/ImageDispatcher(22396): Error acquiring image: Stream is closed[/FONT]

and these:
[FONT=&quot]09-18 13:01:18.170 W/Panel (22396): Image still not available... 21, 0
09-18 13:01:18.170 W/Panel (22396): Image was null![/FONT]

So I guess it wasn't in the socket settings as such...

SamVimes2 Wrote:I do find several of these in the log:
Yes, that's the CQC RIVA server refusing the connection to the image thread...

Sent log - but that section was also exactly the same as yours. Still no pictures loading on my RIVA.

Mine is identical. I have a full log of I/O with fetches, some errors attached. I'm using the media repo from your sample template against my MyMovies repo.
