I am working on a HTML5 application that I would want to be accessible via webriva and the interface viewer. Basically as a layer. You would select a button on the side and it would look the html5 application in the window space (while still keeping the buttons on the side) Like an overlay.

Would that be doable? I think I remember yes. But before I spend too much time on it, I want to confirm that.

Thank you
It would only be available via the IV. You can use a Web Browser widget which is an embedded browser control. You can run the URL for that application in that. For WebRIVA it can't support that because it's already running in a browser. You could invoke it in another tab, using the IntfViewer::RIVACmd command (which lets's you pass your own commands to WebRIVA and handle it with your own Javascript.)

We have a built in handler for RIVACmd to run a URL in another tab, just pass the command as /CQSL/RIVACmd/LoadURLTab the first parameter as the URL to load, and the second parameter is a tab name (used to get back to that tab again if it's already running and you invoke it again.)
