After installing the latest CQC version I'm now running in to problems with it not starting up. Errors in logs are:

08/03 20:34:19-cqcsrv, CIDCfgSrv, MainThread
{
CIDObjStore, CIDObjStore_Implementation3.cpp.2111, Failed/Initialization Failed, Error: 5002/0/0
Could not open the store file for object store 'CIDCfgSrvRepo'
CIDCfgSrv_CfgServerImpl.cpp - 197

}
08/03 20:34:19-cqcsrv, CIDCfgSrv, MainThread
{
CIDCfgSrv, CIDCfgSrv_CfgServerImpl.cpp.204, Failed/Initialization Failed, Error: 7000/0/0
The object store could not be initialized
CIDCfgSrv_ThisFacility.cpp - 179

}

How can I fix this?

That's of the sort that it's very unlikely it's anything to do with any changes that were made. It sounds like something got scrambled somehow. I would put the working version back, maybe down the installer again just to make sure it didn't get whacked in some way, and try it again.

It wasn't able to open the repository file, which is a pretty fundamental thing. I think that there was probably another error just before these that had the actual low level error info in it, which might give us more clues as to why it couldn't open it.

Well, tried to just copy back my old install. Service claims to be running but trying to launch Admin interface or Interface viewer just gets stuck on "Waiting for CQC" message box. Any ideas? Log Server monitor shows nothing.

You didn't happen to upgrade to Win7 64 or something before you did this upgrade? If so you might have hit the Live Essentials problem where that program being installed causes a long delay in network access becoming available to CQC for some unknown reason.

Nope. Sticking with XP on my CQC server because I'm still having some flakiness on other Win7 machines with CQC.

What kind of flakiness?
