Same error twice now. I tried re-downloading, re-unzipping, and reinstalling. Same error.

It almost would have to be either an issue with the zip, or something like not having the right to copy the files, though that should give a different error, or a hard drive issue. But, if it were a hard drive issue, the likelilhood that both times it would fail on that particular file is not very high.

So it would still come back to most likely an issue with the zip. That would probably be the first non-binary file copied, since it's the first manifest file in alphabetical order. So that would likely have something to do with it, but I'm not sure what.

I'd give the installer a try on another machine as a sanity check. I'll download it and give it a shot here...

It worked fine for me just now...

Well nuts, I got it to work too. Before, I had been saving the .zip onto a network directory, and unzipping it there. Then I downloaded it directly to the cqc server and unzipped it there....apparently that makes a difference, as it worked. Sorry for the false alarm, though I'm annoyed it makes a difference where you unzip something....
