I reported it again and I'm now sure that it has happened on several computers so I'm fairly certain that it's not just a fluke. On my admin screen I can switch the IV in and out of full screen with a special action widget. The problem is that on occasion the return from full screen back to windowed doesn't return with the menu and title bar. If I resize, the title bar comes back but still no menu bar. I originally added this so I could go back to turn on the trace window so you can see why this is such a pain.

OK, I'll put it on the list to look into for the next release.

Can you try doing it for a while with the Ctrl-Alt-F1 sequence? I just want to see if it has something to do with it being done via an action command, or it's something just to do with manipulating the frame window.

Well, to be honest I think the action is going to be proven to be 100% at fault. The reason I say that is that I've never seen a window returning from full screen without the menu or titlebar. I believe it's just a fact of the IV not restoring those features SOMETIMES on the return (or your request not being honored).
The truth of the matter is that it's concerning me that I can't duplicate it. It doesn't happen every time. I can't believe it has anything to do w/ a particular template. Blah.

I was asking you to do it via the Ctrl-Alt-F1 sequence because that goes through a considerably different path then when it's done via an action. It may be a timing thing that only happens when it's run from an action, which is a far more complex and tricky scenario than when you just manually invoke it via Ctrl-Alt-F1. If you never see it happen after a good while when you do it manually, that would point to it being some sort of side effect of the action. It's never happened to me at all, so I can't tell myself whether it's that or not.

Hehe, ok. Now to figure out how to remember that key sequence. I'll get on it when I have some time in front of my desktop.

Ctrl-Alt-F1
Are you sure of the key sequence? This doesn't switch into or out of full screen. What should it do?

Oops, sorry. It's Ctrl-Shift-F1.
